The trails and paths of the Camino are lined with so many plants and species. Some, like wheat and barley are familiar but there are also many that I’ve never even heard of (let alone seen) before!

The last time I posted about the Flora on the Way and have decided to keep up the theme – because I’m sure I won’t run out of material!

I’m really enjoying spotting these plants as we walk along… and sharing what I discover about them.

As we pass these plants again and again, we are pointing and naming them as if we are learned botanists. I’m sure we get as many wrong as we do right – but it’s a great way to start a conversation with strangers walking with us!
